Dr Precious Mpanza
Dr. Precious Nonhlanhla Mpanza earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine) in 2013. Following her graduation, she completed a rigorous two-year internship at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital in Umlazi, one of South Africa's busiest hospitals. Additionally, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health (PGDip(OccHealth).
Having worked just over 2 years in rural hospitals, the rural and peri-urban community holds a dear place in her heart.
The experienced she gained working as a District Surgeon has made her an advocate against women and child abuse. She’s also a local girl, having attended Forest View Primary School and Hillcrest High School.
